AVU-E-01-7 ORDER NO. 28719 On March 30, 2001, Avista Corporation dba Avista Utilities—Washington Water Power Division—Idaho filed an Application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission requesting approval of proposed changes to Electric Tariff Schedule 90 Electric Energy Efficiency Programs and Schedule 91 Energy Efficiency Rider Adjustment—Idaho. The Commission based on its review of the filings of record in Case No. AVU-E-01-07 preliminarily finds that the Application may be appropriate for processing under Modified Procedure, i.e., by written submission rather than by hearing. Reference IDAPA 31.01.01.201-204. The Company in its Application requests an effective date for implementation of May 1, 2001. The Commission finds it reasonable to suspend the proposed effective date in order to provide an adequate opportunity for public comment (protest). The Commission has authority to suspend pursuant to the jurisdiction and authority granted it under Title 61 of the Idaho Code. Reference Idaho Code § 61-623. O R D E R In consideration of the foregoing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that implementation of the proposed tariff revisions to the Company’s Electric Tariff Schedules 90 and 91 in Case No. AVU-E-01-7 be suspended for a period of thirty (30) days plus five (5) months from May 1, 2001, or until such earlier time as the Commission may issue an Order accepting, rejecting or modifying the Application in this matter.
