CASE NO. AVU-E-01-7
ORDER NO. 28719
On March 30, 2001, Avista Corporation dba Avista Utilities—Washington Water
Power Division—Idaho filed an Application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission
requesting approval of proposed changes to Electric Tariff Schedule 90 Electric Energy
Efficiency Programs and Schedule 91 Energy Efficiency Rider Adjustment—Idaho.
The Commission based on its review of the filings of record in Case
No. AVU-E-01-07 preliminarily finds that the Application may be appropriate for processing
under Modified Procedure, i.e., by written submission rather than by hearing. Reference IDAPA
31.01.01.201-204.
The Company in its Application requests an effective date for implementation of
May 1, 2001. The Commission finds it reasonable to suspend the proposed effective date in
order to provide an adequate opportunity for public comment (protest). The Commission has
authority to suspend pursuant to the jurisdiction and authority granted it under Title 61 of the
Idaho Code. Reference Idaho Code § 61-623.
O R D E R
In consideration of the foregoing, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED that implementation of

2001, or until such earlier time as the Commission may issue an Order accepting, rejecting or
modifying the Application in this matter.
