AMENDED NOTICE OF SCHEDULING

ORDER NO. 28453

On June 13, 2000, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (Commission) in Order No. 28409 initiated Case No. AVU-E-00-06 to examine proposed changes and adjustments to the PCA methodology of Avista Corporation dba Avista Utilities—Washington Water Power Division (Idaho). The Commission in its Order directed Avista and Commission Staff to file initial statements of position by July 21, 2000.
Avista by letter dated July 7, 2000, requests a two-week extension of the scheduled July 21st file date, with a proposed new deadline of August 4, 2000. The Company reports that it has an electric general rate case filing in the state of Washington and has regulatory hearings the week of July 10-14. The Company requests an extension to allow additional time for discussions between the Company and Staff prior to the filing of initial statements of position.
Staff supports the Company’s requested extension and recommends that the extension be granted to both the Company and Staff.

COMMISSION FINDINGS
The Commission has reviewed and considered the filings of record in Case No. AVU-E-00-06 including Avista’s letter request for a two week extension of file deadline for initial statements of position. The Commission finds it reasonable to grant an extension to both the Company and Commission Staff.
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the following amended scheduling in Case No. AVU-E-00-06 is adopted:
August 4, 2000 Avista Corporation and Commission Staff filing deadline for initial statements of position O R D E R
IT IS HEREBY ORDERED and the Commission does hereby adopt the foregoing amended scheduling in Case No. AVU-E-00-06.
