PUC Commissioners:
As a par time Atlanta resident I am protesting ths rate hike. Whle I understad that
power company owners are entitled to a profit as they are a private entity, I consider this
increase to be grossly unfair to the customer in terms of the proposed amount.
This company has not been ru like a business should be, in terms of maintenance and
needs of the consumer. I am sure you are all aware of the long stading problems with
the continued gaps in service. Now the residents are expected to subsidize the owners
lack of attention to the requirements of rung their for-profit business which happens to
be a power company.

AS A PROPERT OWNER I TINA SAYKO PROTEST ATLANTA POWER CO REQUEST FOR RATE INCREASE. THIS
PROPOSED INCREASE WOULD HAVE DEVASTATING EFFECTS FINANCIALY AND FORCE ME AS A PARTIME USER TO
SELL OR RUN MY POWER BY OTHER MEANS. I PAY $35 A MONTH FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS OF USAGE DURING THE
ENTIRE YEAR AND HAVE SO FOR ABOUT 8 YEARS NOW SO I FEEL ATLANTA POWER HAS RECIEVED ENOUGHT
FREE MONEY FROM ME TO PAY FOR ANY REPAIRS FOR MY TINY BIT OF USAGE SO WHY PENALIZE ME . THIS
INCREASE WOULD ONLY FORCE ME TO SHUT OFF THE POWER AND THEN NO ONE BENEFITS. I BELIEVE THIS
HUGE INCREASE WOULD DEVESTATE THE ENTIRE TOWN AND COULD LEAD TO ITS END,AND ONCE AGAIN WHOM
WOULD BENEFIT IF THERE WERE NO CUSTOMERS. I AM INTERESTED IN A MORE REASONABLE FAIR SOLUTION
