On May 1 , 2008, Atlanta Power Company (Atlanta Power; Company) filed an Application
with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (Commission) requesting a general rate increase in the
Company s basic tariff rates for electric service together with a request for an emergency surcharge.
On June 27 , 2008, the Commission in Order No. 30578 approved "an emergency
temporary surcharge of 33.6% applied to all tariff rates (except the Schedule 4 "new customer
connection charge ) and meter testing charges (General Rules - Regulations and Rates ~ 15 - Service
and Limitations).Atlanta Power Company was directed to file a surcharge tariff prior to
implementation.
On June 30, 2008 , Atlanta Power filed a proposed Schedule 5 Temporary Surcharge tariff
sheet. The Commission has reviewed the Company s tariff filing and finds it to be in compliance
with the Commission s Order No. 30578. The Commission by this Minute Entry and without further
notice approves the submitted Schedule 5 Temporary Surcharge tariff for effective date July 1 , 2008.
