TARIFF ADVICE 02-07 TO ADD INTER-SWITCH VOICE MESSAGING AS AN ENHANCEMENT TO ITS DATA LINK SERVICE, EFFECTIVE MAY 28, 2002 Verizon Northwest, Inc. filed this tariff advice to add Inter-Switch Voice Messaging (ISVM) to the Enhanced Services Section of its tariff as an optional enhancement to Data Link Service. This service allows Enhanced Service Providers to offer voice mail service to their customers through the exchange network within a LATA. Verizon's tariffed voice mail services are only for the provision to Enhanced Services Providers of the capability to provide voice mail and not the actual provision of such services to end user customers. Verizon Northwest has submitted proprietary cost support data indicating that the Company anticipates a net increase in revenue of under $10,000 a year from the provision of this product. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff believes that the provision of this service will not affect Verizon's end user customers and the anticipated revenue increase will not noticeably change Verizon's revenue requirement. Staff recommends approval. Does the Commission agree? ________________ ___________ Birdelle Brown Correspondence/dmemos/2002/adv0207.ver
