SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER’S PROPOSED
CHANGES TO ELECTRIC SERVICE REGULATION NO. 12, CASE NO.
PAC-E-23-21.

On October 3, 2023, PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power (“Company”), filed a Tariff
Advice, PAC-TAE-23-01, proposing changes to its Electric Service Regulation No. 12—Line
Extensions (“Regulation No. 12”), effective January 1, 2024.
On October 23, 2023, the Commission converted the Tariff Advice into this case and
issued a Notice of Application and set an intervention deadline for interested parties to petition for
intervention.1 Order No. 35967.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a
December 7, 2023, public comment deadline and a December 14, 2023, Company reply deadline.

1 The intervention deadline does not run until November 13, 2023. To process this case by the proposed effective date of
January 1, 2024, Staff believes it is necessary to establish the procedural schedule prior to the passing of the intervention
deadline. Staff believe any parties that petition to intervene through the intervention deadline will still have adequate time
to engage in this case and file any comments.
