AVU-G-23-06. On September 1, 2023, Avista Corporation d/b/a/ Avista Utilities (“Company”) filed an application (“Application”) with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”) requesting a change in rates for purchased gas costs and amortization of gas-related deferral balances. The Company represents that, if approved, the Company’s annual revenue will increase by approximately $5.4 million, or about 5.0%. The Company requests a November 1, 2023, effective date. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified Procedure setting an October 17, 2023, initial comment deadline, and an October 20, 2023, reply comment deadline.
