APPLICATION TO VOLUNTARILY WITHDRAW THE IXC CERTIFICATE NO. 371 AND CANCEL THE TARIFF ON FILE. CASE NO. REL-T-23-01. BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
On July 11, 2023, the Commission received a letter from Reliant Communications, Inc.
f/k/a HJN Telecom, Inc. (“Reliant”) indicating that it has no customers, no plans to operate in
Idaho and wished to voluntarily withdraw its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity.
Reliant was granted Certificate No. 371 by Commission Order No.28268 issued January 28,
2000, in Case No. GNR- T-99-17. Reliant has withdrawn its authority to transact business in
Idaho at the Secretary of State’s office, as verified by Staff.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Reliant Communications, Inc. be granted its request and that
Certificate No. 371 be withdrawn without prejudice.
