HomeMy WebLinkAbout20230620_PACE2215_ms.pdfDECISION MEMORANDUM TO:COMMISSIONER ANDERSON COMMISSIONER HAMMOND COMMISSIONER LODGE COMMISSION SECRETARY COMMISSION STAFF LEGAL FROM:MATTHEW E.SUESS CLAIRE SHARP,DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL DATE:JUNE 20,2023 RE:ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER'S COMPLIANCE FILING TO UPDATE THE ELECTRIC SERVICE SCHEDULES NOS.1 AND 36; CASE NO.PAC-E-22-15 BACKGROUND On May 31,2023,The Commission issued Order No.35802 authorizing PacifiCorp d/b/a Rocky Mountain Power ("Company")to increase the Customer Service Charge for both Schedule 1 and Schedule 36 while decreasing the energy charge over five years.The Company was also authorized to change the time of use periods in Schedule 36. On June 9,2023,the Company submitted a compliance filing with new tariffs intended to conform to the Commission's Order.Staff reviewed the Company's proposed tariffs included in its compliance filing and confirmed the tariffs are consistent with the Commission's directives. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Commission approve the tariffs and schedules submitted by the Company on June 9,2023,as filed,with an effective date of June 1,2023.
