SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S PETITION TO
EXTEND THE FILING DATE OF ITS 2023 INTEGRATED RESOURCE
PLAN; CASE NO. IPC-E-23-17.

On May 5, 2023, Idaho Power Company (“Company”) petitioned the Commission for a
three-month extension to file its 2023 electric integrated resource plan (“IRP”) (“Petition”). The
Company asked the Commission to modify the filing date of the 2023 IRP “from the last business
day of June 2023 to no later than the last business day of September 2023.”1 Petition at 2. The
Company requested that its Petition be processed through modified procedure.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Petition and Notice of Modified
Procedure. Staff recommends that the Commission set a public comment deadline of June 13,
2023, and Company reply deadline of June 20, 2023.
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to issue a Notice of Petition and Notice of Modified Procedure
with comments due by June 13, 2023, and Company reply comments by June 20, 2023?
