SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER’S APPLICATION
TO UPDATE LOAD AND GAS FORECASTS USED IN THE INTEGRATED
RESOURCE PLAN AVOID COST MODEL; CASE NO. PAC-E-22-16.
On October 20, 2022, Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp (“Company”),
applied to the Commission, in compliance with Order Nos. 32697 and 32802, requesting
authorization to update the load forecast, natural gas forecast, and long-term contract components
of the Company’s Integrated Resource Plan avoided cost model. The Company requests its filing
be processed by Modified Procedure.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified
Procedure setting a December 5, 2022, comment deadline and a December 12, 2022, reply
comment deadline for the Company.
