IPC-E-22- 24. On September 15, 2022, Idaho Power Company (“Company” or “Idaho Power”) filed an Application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (“Commission”) requesting authority to modify Schedule 82, Flex Peak Program, of Idaho Power’s I.P.U.C No. 29 Tariff No. 101 (“Schedule 82”). The Company is proposing to add a voluntary Automatic Dispatch Option to the Flex Peak Program similar to that of the A/C Cool Credit and Irrigation Peak Rewards programs. Idaho Power seeks to implement the Automatic Dispatch Option for the 2023 demand response season that begins on June 15, 2023, and represents that a Commission order received by February 15, 2023, along with a tariff effective coincident with a Commission order, would best position the Company to accomplish this. Idaho Power requests that its application be processed by Modified Procedure. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a January 10, 2023, public comment deadline, and a January 24, 2023, Company reply deadline. DECISION MEMORANDUM 2 COMMISSION DECISION Does the Commission wish to issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a January 10, 2023, public comment deadline, and a January 24, 2023, Company reply deadline? ______________________ Chris Burdin Deputy Attorney General I:\Legal\ELECTRIC\IPC-E-22-24 Sch 82\memos\IPCE2224_dec_cb.docx
