SUBJECT: IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S APPLICATION FOR A DETERMINATION
OF 2021 DEMAND-SIDE MANAGEMENT EXPENSES AS PRUDENTLY
INCURRED; CASE NO. IPC-E-22-08.

On March 15, 2022, Idaho Power Company requested the Commission determine
$27,922,340 in Idaho Energy Efficiency Rider funds and $7,132,978 in demand response
program incentives, for a total of $35,055,318, were prudently incurred in 2021.
On April 6, 2022, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and set an April 27,
2022, intervention deadline. The order directed “that, after the Notice of Parties has issued,
Commission Staff shall confer with the parties regarding a procedural schedule for this matter.
Order No. 35365 at 3.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
After conferring with the parties, Staff recommends the Commission process this
matter by Modified Procedure, setting an August 3, 2022, comment deadline and an August 24,
2022, reply comment deadline.
