SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF AVISTA CORPORATION'S JOINT PETITION
WITH THE REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO FOR
APPROVAL OF A POWER PURCHASE AGREEMENT; AVU-E-22-04

On February 23, 2022, Avista Corporation d/b/a Avista Utilities (“Company”) and the
Regents of the University of Idaho (“University”) (collectively, “Parties”) petitioned the
Commission for approval of a Power Purchase Agreement between the Company and the Parties
concerning the production of energy from the University’s 132.32 Kilowatt solar facility.
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends the Commission issue Notice of Petition and Notice of Modified
Procedure establishing a May 4, 2022, public comment deadline and a May 11, 2022, Company
reply deadline.
