SUBJECT:IN THE MATTER OF AVISTA UTILITIES TARIFF ADVICE NO.22-01-EPROPOSEDREVISIONSTOITSIDAHOTARIFFINDEX.
BACKGROUND
On March 4,2022,Avista Corporation d/b/a Avista Utilities (Avista)submitted Tariff
Advice No.22-01-E with proposed revisions to its tariff index page (Sheet B-1)with a proposed
effective date of April 18,2022.The proposed revisions address administrative revisions to
update the current listing of tariff sheets on index page (Sheet B-1)that have either been recently
added or cancelled by the Commission through other proceedings.
STAFF ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATION
Staff reviewed each of the Company's proposed tariff changes supplied in the filingand
determined that a Tariff Advice is appropriate for processing the modifications to tariff index
page (Sheet B-1).The proposed modifications are administrative in nature,withdraw a schedule
(never listed in index)that was only active for one year,remove a schedule that was cancelled,
and add two schedules that were approved.Staff recommends that the Commission approve the
Company's proposed revisions to its tariff index page (Sheet B-l),as filed,in Tariff Advice
22-01-E with an effective date of April 18,2022.

tariff filing is to update the current listing of tariff sheets on the index page (Sheet B)to reflect tariffs that
have either been recently added or canceled by the Commission through other proceedings.A summarized
list of the changes are below:
Withdrawn
Schedule 74 Temporary Federal Income Tax Schedule 74 was in effect from April 1,2019 through
March 31,2020 for the purpose of returning to customers the temporary benefits attributable to the
revisions of the federal income tax code caused by enactment of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act signed into
law on December22,2017.This effective term of this rate credit has since passed and those benefits are
no longer being returnedto customers and therefore the Company requests to withdraw this tariff in its
entirety.

Schedule 72 Permanent Federal Income Tax Rate Credit Schedule 72 was canceled as part of the
compliance filing in Avista's 2019 GRC (AVU-E-19-04).
