SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN
POWER TO UPDATE CONTRACTS, LOAD AND GAS FORECASTS
USED IN THE INTEGRATED RESOURCE PLAN AVOIDED COST
MODEL; PAC-E-21-20
On October 27, 2021, Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp, (“Company”),
filed an Application requesting authorization to update the load forecast, natural gas forecast, and
contract information used as inputs to calculate its incremental cost Integrated Resource Plan
(“IRP”) avoided cost rates, as required by Order Nos. 32697 and 32802.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of
Modified Procedure. Staff recommends establishing a public comment deadline of December 15,
2021, and Company reply deadline of December 22, 2021?
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified
Procedure with comments due by December 15, 2021, and Company reply comments by
December 22, 2021?
