CANCELLATION OF CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND
NECESSITY NO.323;CASE NO.CTZ-T-21-01.
BACKGROUND
On May 14,2021,the Commission received a letter from Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP
on behalf of Frontier Communications of America Inc.("Frontier")indicating that Frontier is
seeking to withdraw and discontinuing services including Frontier's Certificate No.323.
Frontier is not currentlyoffering or providing any services to Idaho customers,and would like to
"withdraw and discontinue services effective August 12,2021,or such earlier date as permitted
bv the Commission".Frontier was granted Certificate No.323 in January of 1997.(Case No.
CTZ-T-96-01)
STAFF REVIEW AND RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Frontier be granted its request and that Certificate No.323 be
withdrawn without prejudice and cancel any tariffs on file with the Commission.
