AVU-E-20-11. On October 21, 2020, Avista Corporation d/b/a/ Avista Utilities (“Company”) filed its capacity deficiency update (“Filing”). The Company’s 2020 Integrated Resource Portfolio identified the Company’s first load deficit in January 2026. See Order No. 34814. The Company requested its Filing be processed via Modified Procedure. On December 3, 2020, the Commission issued a Notice of Filing and Notice of Intervention Deadline establishing a 21-day intervention period. Order No 34857. No one petitioned to intervene. Staff conferred with the Company on scheduling. Staff and the Company agreed that the Application should be processed via modified procedure with a February 18, 2021 public comment deadline and a March 4, 2021 Company reply deadline. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Modified Procedure establishing a February 18, 2021 public comment deadline and a March 4, 2021 Company reply deadline.
