SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER’S APPLICATION
FOR A PRUDENCY DETERMINATION ON DEMAND SIDE
MANAGEMENT EXPENDITURES; CASE NO. PAC-E-20-11.

On August 28, 2020, Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp (“Rocky
Mountain Power”) requested an order designating $9,634,576 in expenditures on demand side
management incurred in 2018 and 2019 as prudent.
On October 16, 2020, the Commission issued a Notice of Application and Notice of
Intervention Deadline. Order No. 34813. No parties intervened.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Modified Procedure setting a 60-day
comment period and a 14-day reply comment period. Staff informally discussed the proposed
procedure and schedule with Rocky Mountain Power. The Company had no objections.
