SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER’S APPLICATION
TO UPDATE CONTRACTS, LOAD AND GAS FORECASTS USED IN THE
INTEGRATED RESOURCE PLAN AVOIDED COST MODEL; CASE NO.
PAC-E-20-16.
On October 29, 2020, Rocky Mountain Power, a division of PacifiCorp (“Company”)
filed an Application requesting authorization to update the load forecast, natural gas forecast, and
contract information used as inputs to calculate its incremental cost Integrated Resource Plan
(“IRP”) avoided cost rates, as required by Order Nos. 32697 and 32802.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of
Modified Procedure and establish a 21-day comment period and a seven-day reply period.
