REGULATION NO.12 --LINE EXTENSIONS
BACKGROUND
On October 12,2020,Rocky Mountain Power,a division of PacifiCorp ("the Company")
filed Tariff Advice No.20-01 to correct an error on page 12R.8 Section 3b.2 of the Electric
Service Regulation No.12 -Line Extensions.
On November 22,2019,the Company filed Case No.PAC-E-19-19 requesting
authorization to modify Regulation No.12 so that Paragraph 8 of the Application is stated as
follows:
Currently the tariff requires these customers to pay a contract minimum billingforaslongasserviceistaken,but in no case less than five years.The Company
proposes this be modified to no less than 5 years and no more than 30 years.
However,the currentlyapproved tariff on page 12R.8,section 3.b.2 incorrectly reads:
in no case less than five (5)years,nor M than thirty years.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff reviewed the Application and the Tariff from Case No.PAC-E-19-19.Althoughthe
language was correctly reflected in the Application and in the red-lined legislative version of the
Tariff,it was not correctly reflected in the final version of the Tariff.Tariff Advice No.20-01

corrects the error on page 12R.8 Section 3b.2 (Fourth Revision)of Electric Service Regulation
No.12.
Staff recommends that the Commission approve the corrected version of the Tariff as
filed by the Company.
