SUBJECT: IN THE MATTER OF IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S APPLICATION
FOR AUTHORITY TO MODIFY SCHEDULE 84 ’S METERING
REQUIREMENT AND TO GRANDFATHER EXISTING CUSTOMERS
WITH TWO METERS; CASE NO. IPC-E-20-26.

On June 19, 2020, Idaho Power Company (“Idaho Power” or “Company ”) f iled an
Application requesting authorization to remove the two -meter re quirement for new Schedule 84
customers and to grandfather existing customers with two -meter systems under the current 1:1
monthly netting for 10 years.
On July 17, 2020, the Commission issued a Notice of Applica tion and Notice of
Intervention Deadline. Order No. 34728.
On August 10, 2020, the Commission issued an Amended Notice of Application. Order
No. 34746.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff conferred with the parties f o llowing the intervention deadline. St aff recommends
the Commission process the case by modified procedure and set a comment deadline of October
27, 2020, and a reply comment deadline of November 1 7 , 2020 with two weeks for replies to
discovery during the reply comment period . Staff recommend s the Commission schedule a
public h earing on or around October 15 , 2020 . Staff plan s to host a public workshop on
September 28 , 2020 at 6:00 p.m . No party opposes this proposed schedule and procedure.
