SUBJECT:IN THE MATTER OF CAPITOL WATER CORP.'S APPLICATION TO
DECREASE ITS PURCHASED POWER ADJUSTMENT RATE;CASE
NO.CAP-W-20-01.
On July 15,2020,Capitol Water Corp.("Company")applied for authorization to decrease
its Schedule No.3,Purchased Power Adjustment Rate,from 2.93%to 2.06%,effective August 17,
2020.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff believes it lacks sufficient time to evaluate and comment on the Company's
Application before the proposed August 17,2020 effective date.Staff recommends the
Commission issue a Notice of Application and Notice of Modified Procedure that suspends the
proposed effective date and sets a 21-day comment deadline and 7-day reply deadline.
