SUBJECT: ROCKY MOUNTAIN POWER’S 2017 ELECTRIC INTEGRATED
RESOURCE PLAN, CASE NO. PAC-E-17-03
On April 4, 2017, PacifiCorp dba Rocky Mountain Power applied to the Commission
for an Order accepting its 2017 Electric Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). The IRP analyzes and
outlines the Company’s strategy for meeting its customers’ projected energy needs over the next
20 years. The Company files an IRP every two years, and uses it to guide resource acquisitions.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission issue a Notice of Application and set a 21-
day intervention deadline. Once the intervention deadline has passed, Staff will informally
confer with the parties about further scheduling and report back to the Commission.
