BACKGROUND
On November 8,2019,Idaho Power ("Company")filed a tariff advice with the
Commission proposing edits to Schedule 15,Dusk to Dawn Customer Lighting and Schedule 41,
Street Lighting Service.On December 11,2019 the Company filed a supplement to the tariff
advice requesting a revised effective date of December 19,2019.
STAFF REVIEW
When the Company first filed revised tariff Schedules 15 and 41 in Case No.
IPC-E-19-17,the Company listed a range for the input watts and output lumen of the light-
emitting diode ("LED")fixtures to allow for improving efficiencies of LED lighting technology.
After receiving approval from the Idaho Public Utilities Commission in that case,the Company
proceeded to select a vendor for the LED fixtures.After selecting a vendor,the input watts for
some fixtures were lower than the range listed in the tariff.To accommodate the evolving
technology going forward,the lower bound of the input watts and upper bound of the output
lumens have been removed.The revised Sheets No.15-2,and 41-3 reflect these changes.
Staff believes that the Company's proposed changes to the tariff will accommodate
increased efficiency of LED light fixtures that will certainly occur in the future.Furthermore,
the change will not affect service quality or cost to customers and is,therefore,not material.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff reviewed the Company's proposed revisions which it found to be appropriate.The
changes are beneficial and recommends that the Commission approve the changes as filed by the
Company.
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to approve the Company's revised Schedule 15 tariff sheet
(Sheet No.15-2)and Schedule 41 tariff sheet (Sheet No.41-3)with an effective date of
December 19,2019?
