SUBJECT:REQUESTFOR COMMISSION TO AUTHORIZE STAFF TO SELECT
THE WINNING BIDDER FOR THE TRS ADMINISTRATOR CONTRACT
The Commission is seeking a new TRS Administrator,as the current TRS
Administrator did not wish to renew his contract.In September 2019,Staff advertised that the
Commission was seeking bids for the contract.Staff received two bids by the October 4,2019 due
date.In the coming weeks,Staff plans to select the bidder who best matches the criteria outlined
in Staff's advertisement for the contract.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff believes it has received competitive bids from which it will be able to select a
winningbidder who is qualified to be the TRS Administrator.Staff recommends the Commission
authorize Staff to select a winning bid.Staff also recommends it be authorized to negotiate a
contract with the winningbidder.The negotiatedcontract will then be brought to the Commission
for authorization at a future date.
