FROM: BRANDON KARPEN
DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL
DATE: JULY 20, 2017
SUBJECT: VITCOM LLC APPLICATION FOR CPCN, CASE NO. VIT-T-15-01
On May 22, 2015, Vitcom LLC applied to the Commission for a Certificate of Public
Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) to provide facilities-based and local exchange services in
Idaho. For nearly two years, Staff has attempted to follow-up on the Application with the
Company, and has received no response. Likewise, it appears that the Company no longer
wishes to pursue the Application.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission dismiss the Application without prejudice due
to the Company’s failure to prosecute the action.
COMMISSION DECISION
Does the Commission wish to issue an Order dismissing the case without prejudice?
