NOVEMBER 2,2016 TARIFF ADVICE LETTER UPDATING
THE LOW-INCOME ASSISTANCE PROGRAM TO COMPLY
WITH FEDERAL REQUIREMENTS.
On November 3,2016,Albion Telephone Company,Inc.dba ATC (“ATC”or
“Company”)submitted a Tariff Advice Letter seeking Commission approval to update the Low
Income Assistance Program to comply with the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC)
Lifeline Reform Order and the FCC Lifeline Modernization Order.With this filing,ATC revises
the Lifeline information to reflect the recent changes to the Lifeline Program requirements.The
Company requests an effective date of December 2,2016.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed the Tariff Advice Letter,and believes it complies with the state and
federal requirements for low-income assistance benefits.Staft therefore,recommends
Commission approval with an effective date of December 2,2016.
