RE:POTLATCH TELEPHONE COMPANY’S TARIFF ADVICE LETTER
16-04 TO REVISE AND CLARIFY THE LANGUAGE WITHIN THE
LOW-INCOME ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.
On October31,2016,Potlatch Telephone Company (“Potlatch”)submitted Tariff Advice
Letter 16-04 seeking Commission approval to revise the language within the Low-Income
Assistance program.The revised language complies with applicable federal laws,including
Tribal Lifeline benefits addressed in the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC)Lifeline
Reform Order and the FCC Lifeline Modernization Order.With this filing,Potlatch also adds
language clarifying the Idaho Telephone Service Assistance Program (ITSAP).Potlatch requests
an effective date of December 2,2016.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed the filing and believes it is in compliance with state and federal
requirements.Thus,Staff recommends Commission approval.
