UPDATE TO SOLAR INTEGRATION RATES AND CHARGES
IDAHO POWER COMPANY’S SCHEDULE 87 TARIFF COMPLIANCE
FILING
On May 6,2016,Idaho Power Company filed an Application asking the Commission for
authority to update its solar integration rates and charges consistent with its completed 2016
Solar Integration Study.On June 30,2016,Staff agreed with Company’s proposed solar
integration rates and charges,but recommended addition of clarifying language to the proposed
Schedule 87 to clarify how the rates are to be applied.On July 7,2016,the Company filed Reply
Comments agreeing with Staffs recommendation that clarifying language be added to Schedule
87.In Order No.33563,the Commission approved the Revised Schedule 87 to be effective on
August 9.2016.
On August 17,2016,Idaho Power Company submits its Schedule 87 Tariff Compliance
Filing pursuant to Order No.33563.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed the Compliance Filing and confirms that the submitted Schedule 87,
Intermittent Generation Integration Charges,complies with Commission Order No.33563.Staff
recommends approval of the Compliance Filing.
