BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
Fremont Telcom Co.dba Fremont Communications is seeking Commission approval to
introduce new advanced calling features and services to consumers within us service area as well
as removal of some out dated features that no longer have subscribers.The Company is
requesting an effective date of December 8,2014.
The Company is adding some new Advanced Custom Calling features and provided a
cost analysis that showed the Company will be recovering its costs.The Company is also
upgrading to a new IP Centrex system,which supports the advanced calling features.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff has reviewed this filing and believes that the Company will be recovering its costs
while providing business customers with a new technology and advanced service offerings.Staff
recommends approval with an effective date of December 8,2014.
