RE:CERTIFICATE NO.401 NAME CHANGE FROM WESTCOM,
LLC DBA WESTTELFIBER TO WESTEL,LLC;CASE NO.
WSC-T-05-01.
On August 8,2014,Westel,LLC (“Westel”)filed an Application to transfer
Certificate No.401 from its current holder,WestCom,LLC dba WestTelFiber
(“WestCom”)to Westel,LLC.Certificate No.401 was issued to WestCom dba Digital
Easy Chair in 2002 and in 2006,the Commission approved the name change to
WestCom,LLC dba WestTelFiber.See Commission Order Nos.29084 and 29965.
Effective July 15,2014,Westel acquired the assets of WestCom and states that it will
offer the same services currently provided by WestCom.Westel included copies of
Certificates issued by the Idaho Secretary of State’s Office,financial information,and a
revised price list reflecting the new name.Accordingly,Staff recommends that the
Commission approve the name change on Certificate No.401 to Westel,LLC.
