HomeMy WebLinkAbout20140707_4446.pdfDECISION MEMORANDUM 1 DECISION MEMORANDUM TO: COMMISSIONER KJELLANDER COMMISSIONER REDFORD COMMISSIONER SMITH COMMISSION SECRETARY COMMISSION STAFF FROM: KRISTINE SASSER DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL DATE: AUGUST 20, 2014 SUBJECT: IMPLEMENTATION OF SOLAR INTEGRATION RATES AND CHARGES; MOTION FOR ADMISSION, PRO HAC VICE, CASE NO. IPC-E-14-18 On August 7, 2014, Matt Vespa filed a Motion, pursuant to Idaho Bar Commission Rule (IBCR) 227, for Pro Hac Vice Admission. The Motion was signed and attested to by local counsel Dean J. Miller of Boise, Idaho (ISB #1968). Mr. Vespa certifies that he is an active member in good standing of the Bar of the State of California and that he maintains the regular practice of law as an attorney for Sierra Club in San Francisco. Mr. Vespa further declares that he is not a resident of the State of Idaho nor is he licensed to practice law in Idaho. Mr. Vespa states that he has never previously been admitted to practice under the Idaho Bar Commission Rules. Mr. Vespa and Mr. Miller attested that a copy of the Motion has been served by electronic mail upon other parties in this matter. They further assert that a copy of the Motion, accompanied by the required $325 fee and a certificate of good standing, have been submitted to the Idaho State Bar. Mr. Miller acknowledges that his attendance shall be required at all Commission proceedings in which Mr. Vespa appears, unless specifically excused by the Commission. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff has confirmed with the Idaho State Bar that it has received Mr. Vespa’s Motion, $325 fee and certificate of good standing. Therefore, Staff recommends that the Commission grant the Motion for limited admission.
