SUBJECT: AVISTA’S APPLICATION FOR A PRUDENCY DETERMINATION FOR
2010-2012 ELECTRIC AND GAS ENERGY EFFICIENCY
EXPENDITURES, CASE NOS. AVU-E-13-09 & AVU-G-13-02
On September 30, 2013, Avista Corporation dba Avista Utilities applied for an Order
finding that it prudently incurred $25,380,857 in electric and natural gas energy efficiency
expenditures from January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2012. The Commission subsequently
issued a Notice of Application and Modified Procedure that set a February 4, 2014 comment
deadline and a February 18, 2014 reply deadline. See Order No. 32921.
Commission Staff needs additional time to review this matter before filing comments.
It thus asks the Commission to extend the comment and reply deadlines respectively to March 6
and March 20, 2014. Avista has advised Staff that it concurs with this request. The case has no
other parties.
