SUBJECT:TARIFF ADVICE 13-02 REGARDING REVISIONS TO SCHEDULE 95—
ADJUSTMENT FOR MUNICIPAL FRANCHISE FEES.
On July 12,2013,Idaho Power Company (Idaho Power)filed Tariff Advice No.13-02 to
revise Schedule 95—Adjustment for Municipal Franchise Fees.The revision updates the
ordinance number and effective date of change for the City of Fairfield.The current 1.00%
franchise fee does not change.
STAFF ANALYSIS
In January of 2003,the City of Fairfield granted Idaho Power a franchise for a period of
ten years with Ordinance No.199.In April of2013,the City of Fairfield issued Ordinance 253.
which terminated Ordinance 199 and granted Idaho Power another ten-year franchise beginning
April 11,2013.Idaho Power revised Schedule 95 to reflect both the new ordinance number and
the new updated date of change.
The new Ordinance kept the franchise fee at the same level of 1.00%.The only
significant change in the new Ordinance is language directing Idaho Power to maintain its
property free from noxious weeds.
Staff recommends approval of the revisions to Schedule 95 Eo update the Ordinance
number and effective date of change for the City of Fairfield.
