HomeMy WebLinkAbout20130528_4066.pdfDECISION MEMORANDUM TO:COMMISSIONER KJELLANDER COMMISSIONER REDFORD COMMISSIONER SMITH COMMISSION SECRETARY LEGAL WORKING FILE FROM:STACEY DONOHUE DATE:MAY 24,2013 RE:CASE NO.GNR-E-12-01 IN THE MATTER OF THE COMMISSION’S INQUIRY INTO THE COST- EFFECTIVENESS AND FUNDING OF LOW INCOME WEATHERIZATION PROGRAMS FOR ELECTRIC UTILITIES COMPLIANCE FILING-SCHEDULE 21 REVISION On May 15,2013,Rocky Mountain Power filed revisions to Schedule 2110 conform with Order No.32788 in Case No.GNR-E-12-01.In that case,the Commission directed the Company “that the amount of funding for Rocky Mountain Power’s conservation education program shall be 525,000,with the Company to fund that amount annually.”Order at 17.Rocky Mountain Power has requested a June 1,2013 effective date. Staff has reviewed the Company’s revised tariff and finds that it is in compliance with the Commission Order.In that case,Staff recommended and the Commission ordered that Rocky Mountain Power’s conservation education funding be adjusted to more closely match Idaho Power and Avista’s funding levels on an annual and per-residential customer basis. STAFF RECOMMENDATION Staff recommends that Rocky Mountain Power’s Schedule 21 revision be approved effective June 1,2013.
