RE:FREMONT'S COMPLIANCE TARIFF FILING TO INCREASE LOCAL
RESIDENTIAL TELEPHONE SERVICE RATE.
On January 22, 2010, Fremont Telecom Co. dba FairPoint Communications (Fremont)
submitted a tariff fiing to increase residential access line rate from $24.10 to $25.76 in
compliance with Commission Order No 30951 issued on December 4,2009. Fremont is an
Idaho USF recipient company and submits this fiing to meet the minimum threshold rates to
receive Idaho USF funding. In the filing, Fremont attached a customer notice that was included
in the February bils. Fremont requests an effective date of "on or before" March 2, 2010.
STAFF ANALYSIS
Staff had reviewed the filing for compliance with Order No. 30951 and recommends
approval of the fiing with and effective date of March 2,2010.
