("CENTURYLINK") TARIFF ADVICE 09-02 REQUESTING AUTHORITY TO INTRODUCE A NEW CUSTOMER REFERRAL PROGRAM FOR RESIDENCE CUSTOMERS. REQUESTING AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 22, 2010. BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION On December 23 2009, CenturyTel of the Gem State, Inc. ("Century Link") filed Tariff Advice 09-02 requesting Commission approval to introduce a new service called Residence Customer Referral Program. Residence Customer Referral Program is a plan that provides for a one-time $50 bill credit when an existing residence customer submits a referral via the Company s internet website that results in the establishment of a new customer account for service for the Company. This bill credit is limited to one bill credit per customer referral and a maximum of $600 referral credits per calendar year. New residence customers may also be eligible for a $10 bill credit for six consecutive months. In order for the new customer to be eligible they must establish a new customer account for residential local exchange service.
