OF MCCALL FRANCHISE FEE AND ADDING CITY OF HAZELTON
FRANCHISE FEE; TARIFF ADVICE NO. 09-01.
BACKGROUND
On March 24 2009 Idaho Power Company submitted a tariff advice to increase the
franchise fee it collects for the City of McCall and add the City of Hazelton to the list of cities for
which it collects a franchise fee. The City of McCall adopted Ordinance No. 862 on January 8
2009 raising the franchise fee from 1% to 3% while the City of Hazelton adopted Ordinance No.
238 on January 13 2009, imposing a franchise fee of 1 %. Copies of the Ordinances were submitted
with the Application. The Company requested an effective date of April 29 2009 for the City of
McCall and May 29 2009 for the City of Hazelton.
ST AFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Commission accept Tariff Advice No. 09-01 for filing with an
effective date of April 29 2009 for the City of McCall and May 29 2009 for the City of Hazelton.
