TTS-08-01 (Teton Springs) CERTIFICATE APPLICATION AND REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF RATES, CHARGES, RULES AND REGULATIONS RECOMMENDATION FOR FURTHER PROCEDURE On May 20, 2008 , Teton Springs Water & Sewer Company, LLC (Teton Springs; Company) filed an Application with the Idaho Public Utilities Commission (Commission) requesting a Certificate of Convenience and Necessity to provide domestic, culinary water service in Teton County, Idaho to customers within the Teton Springs Golf and Casting Club planned unit development. The Company also requested that the Commission approve a change in existing rates and charges for water service and approve the Company s proposed Rules and Regulations Governing the Rendering of Water Service. On June 12, 2008, the Commission in Order No. 30571 issued Certificate of Convenience and Necessity No. 471 to Teton Springs, authorized continued water service under the existing flat rate, and suspended the remainder of the Company Application. Accompanying the Commission s Order was a Notice of Application. Also established was a June 27, 2008 intervention deadline. No petitions were filed. On July 18 , 2008, the Commission issued a Notice scheduling a public workshop for Teton Springs' customers. That workshop is scheduled for August 12, 2008 at 7:00 m. at Teton Springs Lodge and Spa, Snake River Room, 19 Village Place, Victor, Idaho. DECISION MEMORANDUM COMMISSION DECISION By way of further procedure in Case No. TTS-08-, the Company and Commission Staff recommend that the matter be processed pursuant to Modified Procedure, i. by written submission rather than by hearing. IDAP A 31.01.01.201-204. Proposed by Staff and the Company are a September 5 , 2008 comment deadline and September 19, 2008 Company reply deadline.
