RE:IDAHO POWER TARIFF ADVICE ADDING CITY OF WENDELL
FRANCHISE FEE. TARIFF ADVICE No. 06-08.
On October 17, 2006, Idaho Power Company submitted a tariff advice to add the City of
Wendell to the list of cities for which it collects a franchise fee. The City imposed a franchise
fee of one percent (1 %) by Ordinance No. 460. The Company submitted a copy of the City of
Wendell Ordinance with its Application. The Company indicated that Wendell provided notice
to citizens in accordance with its legal requirements, and that the Company would also provide a
bill message to affected customers in the billing prior to the fee becoming effective. The
Company requested an effective date of November 17 2006.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Commission accept this Tariff Advice for filing.
