RE:NAME CHANGE FOR CERTIFICATE NUMBER 401 FROM DIGITAL
EASY CHAIR TO WESTCOM LLC DBA WESTELFIBER.
BACKGROUND
On July 30, 2002, the Commission issued Order No. 29084 granting a Certificate of
Public Convenience and Necessity to Digital Easy Chair. Digital Easy Chair has been providing
local exchange service to subscribers in Southern Idaho using its Certificate No. 401.
DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION
On December 9 2004, the Company completed its Certificate of Assumed Business
Name to change its business name and filed it with the Secretary of State. According to the
certificate the new business name is WestCom LLC dba WestelFiber.
On December 15, 2005, the Company submitted its revised price list reflecting the
Company s new business name.
Staffhas reviewed the price list and name change documentation and finds it in
compliance with the Commission s Rules of Procedure and Idaho Statute. It does not appear that
any rates, terms or conditions have been changed, therefore, Staff recommends approval.
