RE:IDAHO POWER COMPANY TARIFF ADVICE NO. 05-09,
MODIFICATION TO SCHEDULE 41.
BACKGROUND
On December 17 2004, Idaho Power Company ("Company ) filed Tariff Advice No.
04-08 requesting a modification to Schedule 41 to allow the Company to have two standard
street lighting fixture options, the drop-glass and cut-off (shielded lighting). On January 24
2005, the Idaho Public Utilities Commission granted the Company s requested modifications and
made them effective January 17 2005.
As a housekeeping matter, the Company is now requesting to replicate those same fixture
options to customers currently taking service under the "No New Service" provisions of
Schedule 41. When a fixture needs to be replaced, the Company replaces it with a fixture
appropriate to the Company s current standard lamp sizes. Upon adoption of this tariff advice
replacements will be made with a similar type of drop-glass or cut-off fixture as the one being
replaced unless written notification has been received from the customer requesting a change in
fixture types.
Through this tariff advice, the Company is requesting the Commission to approve the
First Revised Tariff Sheet No. 41-5 that incorporates the requested housekeeping modification.
