RE:QWEST CORP. FILING RE: NEW QUALIFICATIONS FOR TRIBAL
LIFELINE CUSTOMER; ADVICE NO. 05-03-
On June 10, 2005, the Commission received Qwest's Advice No. 05-03-N. In this filing,
Qwest is notifying the Commission of new qualifications and programs for Tribal Lifeline
customers in accordance with the new FCC requirements. The customers who live on tribal
lands can now qualify based on their income level without participation in other qualifying
programs. The filing has an effective date of July 1 2005.
STAFF ANALYSIS
Staff has reviewed this filing and recommends approval. Staff is aware the 30-day filing
requirement has not been met, but recognizes this filing is submitted to comply with new FCC
requirements.
