implementation of the agreement is not consistent with the public interest, convenience and
necessity. 47 US.C. 9252(e)(2)(A).
DISCUSSION
On April 22, 2008 , Cambridge Telephone Company submitted an Application for a
traffic exchange and reciprocal compensation agreement with Verizon Wireless. In this
Application, the parties request that the Commission approve an agreement that includes terms
conditions, and rates under which the parties agree to interconnect the Commercial Mobile Radio
Services (CMSR) network of Verizon and the Incumbent local Exchange Carrier (ILEC) network
of Cambridge for purposes of exchanging local traffic.
STAFF ANALYSIS
