RE:QWEST TARIFF ADVICE 03-14-N TO INCLUDE PER-USE FEES FOR
CONTINUOUS REDIAL AND LAST CALL RETURN IN NORTHERN
IDAHO, EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 18, 2003
Qwest has filed this tariff advice to provide "pay as you go" options for Continuous
Redial and Last Call Return in Lewiston, Idaho. The pay-per-use feature provides customers
who would use the service infrequently to pay a $.75 "per activation" charge with a maximum of
$6.00 in any month per feature, rather than the monthly rates that are already tariffed. These are
the same rates Qwest uses in Southern Idaho for its pay-per-use features.
According to Qwest, the pay-per-use features were activated in the Lewiston office
because it also served customers in Clarkston Washington and the features are tariffed in
Washington. Although Lewiston customers have access to the pay-per-use features, they are not
currently paying for them. Lewiston is the only exchange where these services will be available.
Customers may request the removal of these services at any time at no charge.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of Qwest Advice 03-14-N effective November 18, 2003.
