RE:POTLATCH TELEPHONE COMPANY ADVICE 03-04P TO
INTRODUCE TOLL RESTRICTION WITH PIN OVERRIDE,
EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 29, 2003
Potlatch Telephone Company filed this Tariff Advice to add Toll Restriction with PIN
Override to its Custom Calling Service. This service enables customers to restrict all or a
combination of their 0+ and 1 + toll calls from being placed over existing exchange lines or
trunks. The customer will have the ability to override the restriction on a per-call basis by using
a Personal Identification Number (PIN). When a restricted call is attempted without a PIN, the
caller will receive either dial tone or a company-recorded announcement.
Potlatch proposes to offer this service for $3.50 per month for both business and
residential customers. The Company has provided proprietary cost data that shows that the
Company will recover its fully allocated costs at this rate.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Advice 03-04P be approved effective October 29 2003. Does the
