This service is linked to the subscriber s Message Delivery Service Provider so that when the message service provider has a message for the Qwest subscriber, the Qwest subscriber will be notified audibly, visually or both (determined by the customers subscription). The message service provider must subscribe to Qwest's Message Delivery Service in order to provide this feature. The customer must provide a visual device to display the signal. Qwest will charge a nonrecurring charge of $7.00 for residential and $11. for business customers, and a monthly rate of$0.05 and $0., respectively. Additionally, Qwest introduces a new package that will be marketed as ValueChoice to residential customers. The package includes a Flat-Rate Residential Line and several standard features, as listed below, and will be offered for $24.99 per month: Anonymous Call Rejection Call Forwarding Variable Call Waiting or Call Waiting ill Caller ill - Name and Number Long Distance Alert Three-Way Calling DECISION MEMORANDUM - 1 -JULY 16, 2003 Customers may also include, at no additional charge, one or more of the following optional features: Call Forward Busy Line (Overflow)lDon t Answer Message Waiting Indication - Audible Message Waiting Indication - Visual Message Waiting Indication - AudibleNisual Qwest has enhanced its Call Waiting service to provide different tones to distinguish between local and long distance calls in the initial ring cycle as well as in the call-waiting mode.
