NO. 387 IN IDAHO.
BACKGROUND
On June 20, 2003 , the Commission received a letter from Essex Communications, Inc.
dba eLEC Communications (Essex) indicating that it has no customers and no plans to operate in
Idaho and wished to voluntarily withdraw its Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity.
Essex was granted Certificate No. 387 in May 2001. (Case No. GNR-00-26.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Essex be granted its request and that Certificate No. 387 be
withdrawn without prejudice.
